When I restarted my job search I put a lot more emphasis on networking. The people that I met were really helpful, especially the people at the Worthington Chapter of SRJN. The position that I landed was obtain purely through networking, plain and simple. I know that I got lucky by meeting the right person, who knew the right person, at the right time. But without going out of my comfort zone, and believe me, networking is way out of my comfort zone, this position would have never happened for me.
